Bahrain Business e-Visa Specifications

Bahrain Business Visa

Bahrain Business Evisa

The Bahrain Business e-Visa permits short-term travel for business meetings, conferences, and negotiations.

It may be issued as a single-entry or multiple-entry visa, with stay periods of 14, 30, or 90 days and validity periods extending up to 1 year.

Note: This eVisa is strictly for business purposes and does not permit any paid employment in Bahrain.

Business eVisa Requirements

Start with these. Every applicant submits them, no exceptions.

  1. A scan of your passport bio page, valid for at least 6 months from your Bahrain entry date
  2. A confirmed return or onward air ticket showing your arrival and departure. Travelling by road? A signed letter with your stay duration, entry mode, exit mode, and next destination covers this
  3. A hotel booking or the Bahrain ID of the person you will be staying with

What comes next depends on your nationality.

During your application, you will be asked: "Do you have a current, valid Residence Permit or Visit Visa for a GCC country?"

Your answer shapes the rest of your document list.

  • Yes: Upload your GCC Residence Permit or Visit Visa. It must remain valid for at least 3 months from your entry date. Submit both front and back.
  • No: A certified bank statement for the last 3 months is required. Regular transactions and a closing balance of at least USD 1,000 or 380 BHD.

Note: Certain nationalities answering no will need one more document: a valid visa from the UAE, UK, USA, Saudi Arabia (Hajj and Umrah visas not accepted), any Schengen country, or a US Green Card.

Some nationalities only submit the 3 documents at the top. Nothing further is required of them.

See the Bahrain eVisa Document Requirements to confirm your specific list.
