Applicants are grouped by nationality.
Group A- Reduced Requirements Applicants
Submit only 3 documents: 1. Passport bio-page scan; 2. Return air ticket OR a signed letter for onward travel (if exiting by road or sea); 3. Proof of accommodation in Bahrain (a hotel booking OR Bahrain host’s ID).
Group B- Standard Applicants
Submit only 4 documents: 1. Passport bio-page scan; 2. Return air ticket OR a signed onwards travel letter (for road or sea exit); 3. Proof of stay in Bahrain (either a hotel booking OR the Bahrain host’s ID); 4. GCC Citizens: Submit a valid GCC residence permit or a visit visa; Non-GCC Citizens: Submit a bank statement/e-bank statement for the last 3 months.

Group C - Applicants Requiring Extra Supporting Documents
Submit 3 common documents: 1. Passport bio-page scan; 2. Return flight ticket OR signed onward travel letter (if leaving Bahrain by land or sea); 3. Hotel booking OR host’s legible Bahrain ID. GCC Citizens: Submit 1 additional document: GCC residence permit OR a visit visa.
Non-GCC Citizens: Submit 2 additional documents: 1. Bank statement/e-bank statement (last 3 months); 2. A valid visit visa from the UAE, UK, USA, KSA (except Hajj/Umrah), or Schengen country OR a US Green Card.

Countries Eligible for a Bahrain Visa-on-Arrival
There are currently more than 69 countries eligible for a Bahrain visa on arrival. The citizens of these countries should have a valid passport to enter and stay in Bahrain.
Important Note: Visa-on-arrival holders for Bahrain are prohibited from any paid or unpaid employment during their stay in the country.
