Requirements for the Bahrain Family eVisa 

Your document list depends on your nationality.

Everyone submits these three:

1. Passport bio page scan: valid for at least 6 months from your entry date
2. Return or onward air ticket showing arrival and departure from Bahrain. If travelling by road, a signed letter covering stay duration, entry mode, exit mode, and next destination
3. A confirmed hotel booking, or the Bahrain ID of the family member or person you will be staying with.

Beyond these three, your nationality determines the rest.

Most applicants will encounter this question in the form: "Do you have a current, valid Residence Permit or Visit Visa for a GCC country?"

• Answering yes means submitting that GCC document, valid for at least 3 months from your entry date into Bahrain, with both front and back uploaded.
• Answering no means submitting a certified 3-month bank statement showing regular transactions and a closing balance of at least USD 1,000 or 380 BHD.

For certain nationalities, a no answer also requires one additional document: a valid visa from the UAE, UK, USA, Saudi Arabia (excluding Hajj and Umrah visas), any Schengen country, or a US Green Card.

A smaller group of nationalities only needs the three documents listed above, with no further steps.
