The Family eVisa is for travellers from certain countries that qualify under Bahrain’s eVisa Policy and want to visit close family members in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

What are the Requirements for the Bahrain Family eVisa?

The document requirements for the Bahrain Family eVisa are entirely dependent on the applicant’s nationality. 

3 mandatory documents that the applicant is required to submit, irrespective of their nationality, are the following: 

1. Passport Bio-page Scan: Valid for at least 6 months from your entry date.
2. Return Air Ticket/Signed Letter for Onwards Travel: Showing both your arrival and departure from Bahrain. If travelling by road, a signed letter covering the duration of stay, the mode of entry, the mode of exit, and your next destination is required.
3. A Confirmed Hotel Booking, or the Bahrain Host’s ID

There are also a few document requirements that are solely based on the applicant's nationality.

Most applicants will encounter this question in the form:"Do you have a current, valid Residence Permit or Visit Visa for a GCC country?"

• Selecting “YES” means you should submit a GCC residence permit, valid for at least 3 months from your entry date into Bahrain, with both the front and back uploaded.
• Selecting “NO” means you must instead submit a certified 3-month bank statement showing both regular transactions and a closing balance of at least USD 1,000(380 BHD).

For certain nationalities, choosing “NO” also requires one additional document: a valid visa from the UAE, the UK, the USA, Saudi Arabia (excluding Hajj and Umrah visas), any Schengen country, or a US Green Card.

A smaller group of nationalities only needs the three documents listed above, with no further steps.

• Upload Documents: Carefully review each field before uploading clear scanned copies of the required documents.
• Pay Visa Fee and Submit the Application: Next, pay the visa fee using a credit/debit card, cryptocurrency or PayPal before submitting the application form.
